Why do you use EdPlace? For a lot of parents it’s about convenience – supporting your students’ education at a time and place that works for you. We’re always looking for ways to help parents achieve this and we’re glad to announce two new features that we think will make using EdPlace even more flexible.
Auto Save to the Rescue
One of our most requested features is now available! We’ll automatically save progress on all work started by your child so that they can pick up where they left off later. It’s really useful for longer revision papers or when life throws you distractions! An icon will show next to partially complete interactive topics in a student’s ‘To Do’ list so they know which ones they still need to complete.
Auto-save is available when you login on our website. We’ll be adding support for the iOS app in the near future.
Enhancements to auto assign
We know a lot of our customers love Auto Assign. Auto assign helps provide relief, knowing that your child can continue to progress at the right pace. We’ve improved our technology to make sure your child has a solid understanding of the fundamentals first before moving on to more complex topics.
To make sure your child has a good grasp of a topic Auto Assign reassigns work when a student scores less than 70%. We make your child aware of this in their account so that they aren’t surprised to see it back on their ‘To do’ list. If a student completes a topic three times and still hasn’t scored above 70%, we won’t reassign it. To help you on these occassions, we’ll send you an email and post a notification on your dashboard so that you can see which topics they may need a bit of additional support on. You might want to review the topic with them or check they haven’t missed anything in the instructions provided by our teachers.
If your student is still having trouble let us know. We’ll do our best to help get them past the problem.
